Darwin's theory in crisis

          

        How we and all other creatures were existed? According to the Darwin's theory the life came from non-life. Also, there is a connection between all creatures. For example, human, animal, and plant are related. In another word, they came from simple cell. Then each one has been transformed by the environment to still survive.  This notion was exist before Darwin because the Greek philosophers thought that an animal developed to become a human. Darwin made an explanation for this thought called it "natural selection."  It means that the genes changed with time because of natural factors.  Modern studied made this theory weakness "Darwin's Theory Of Evolution - A Theory in Crisis".  The scientist discovered that the simple cell which was considered original life, according to the Darwin's theory" is complex, too. Furthermore, Darwin couldn't find out the composition of cell like these days by microscope. Another reason made Darwin's theory in crisis that he was not completely sure.

            I studied this theory in high school. Although I didn't believe about it, it was interested to me. I believe that everything created by God and for a specific reason. So, the right concept for evolution is adaption not genetic mutations.

            I learned from this article some vocabulary, such as Premise, nutshell, irreducibly, and aberration

         There are many things over the world still a mystery. One of these "The Secret of Stonehenge" which is located in London for more than 4000 years ago. Until now, the scientists try to find out how builds it and why. They predict it is built by the same people who built Durrington Walls (a structure which is located about two miles northeast of Stonehenge and similar to it but larger and wooden). There are two strong theories about Stonehenge. First, it a place of the dead according to Mike Parker an archeologist. His theory bases on Malagasy culture. Malagasy people who built Durrington Walls. In their culture wood referred to life and stone referred to dead. The second theory says the Stonehenge is a place for health and healing. Because the archeologist found in Wales, about 250 miles west Stonehenge, a region of Wales are the Preseli Mountains. The mountain's water is predicted that is cure illness. With these studies and theories the Stonehenge still is mystery.
          I like puzzle, and I look forward to find the answer. I feel excited when I read story "The Secret of Stonehenge." I hope to visit this place. In my opinion this a huge building was built for something else maybe connect with religion. 
         From this passage I learned more details about Stonehenge. Also, I learned some vocabulary, such as cite, grave, colleagues, pottery, and trace. 

Journal Entry#3

      The mining in sky is a good idea because its benefits, but it is adventure in the same time. The explorers found asteroids in our solar system which include water, gold, and platinum. The benefit of the water is to use as fuel or to grow crops in space. The group who lead the project, mining in sky, sent a new telescope to investigate types of the rocks. Some people afraid about this project cost which is about billion dollars, but others like James, who makes avatar movie, invests money in this project which will be started in 10 years.
      It good to find other sources of water, metals, or fuel in space. I wish to invest money in such project. Maybe finding water in space leads to find life there.
         I learn some good information and new vocabulary from this article. the vocabulary are: mine, scoop up, and squeeze.     

Journal Entry#2

       The protection of the engendered animals, such as "saving the panda" is very important, but it isn't easy in the same time. For example, the cost of hosing of panda, which is extinct animal, can exceed $2.5 million a year. This money is spent as fee for doctors, keepers, food, and toys. Although the cost is expensive, several benefits will get. First, saving these kinds of animals from the extinction is good thing. In recent year the number of bounded-panda has risen. Second, the government will get revenue. Also, there are many pandas became independent. Some countries like the US and China is protecting the panda, and they try to make it many.
          When I read the passage "Saving the Panda", I felt surprising because of the cost of caring. In past, I thought that the ticket of any zoo is expensive, but now I thing that is reasonable. But when I went to the San Diego's zoo, I saw the panda was dirty. By the way the panda is a beautiful animal, so we should save it.
        from this passage I learn some vocabularies, such as precious, revenue, offset, and accommodating.

Inter. Reading Journal#1

            The most important sporting event in the world is the Olympic Games. Most of people dream to become an athlete and take part in the Olympic games, but that is depend on two factors. First, the natural characteristics of the body are important to help which field will be chosen. Second factor is a practice which means to do an activity and keep on with it. In addition, the environment or culture also effect on success. For example, if a person has a talent, and his/her culture prevents him/her, he/she won't be able to go on with his/her talent. 
               Actually, I feel very interesting when I watch Olympic games. I prefer the gymnastic game more than others. I'm looking forward to watch Olympic games in real no on TV.  

            From this passage I learned some vocabularies, such as champion, twitch, attribute, and anxiety.

Baqer Alhabeeb

            I would like to introduce myself. My name is Baqer Alhabeeb. I'm from Iraq. I have BSc, bachelor degree in mechanical engineering sciences .I was working in Kerbala University in Iraq as a supervisor on projects in the university .In the same time; I was working in my computer center to fix computers. I got good grads in university, so I got a scholarship. I have been in the U.S for five months. I'm living in Nutwood Apartments, Fullerton California. I'm studying English in ALP, American Language Program in intermediate level. I'm studying hard to improve my English. I will complete my study to get MSc, master degree in mechanical engineering sciences, in CSUF. Before that I must get 550 in TOEFL, 6.5 in IELTS or 79 in iBT to continue my study in the university because I have been an additional conditional letter from CSUF. I am looking forward to complete my study with good grads. Then I'll go home to help my country.    

            Beside my study, I have a limit time to relax. My hobbies are swimming, soccer, basketball and reading. I couldn't know swim before I come here, but now I can swim very well. Every weekend, my friends and I play soccer or basketball. In addition, I like to read anything which helps me to learn more about any topic. Also, It helps me to improve my English.

Bad Technology

I wish the Nuclear Bomb has not been invented

       Some technology has only disadvantages such as nuclear bomb. This technology was invented to show power. The great countries like the US have nuclear bombs to appear to other countries that they are the strongest countries in the world. During World War II, the US used these types of bombs to attack Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Then the US made an apology to Japanese. Today, the main problem is connected with weapons of mass destruction. The bad relationship between the US and North Korea is because of this technology. The other bad relationship between the US and Iran is because of this technology also. In short, if these kinds of bombs were not invented, our lives would be better.
